SECARE is dedicated to the the ongoing rescue, sheltering, feeding, medical treatment and placement into foster and adopted homes. Caring for abused, injured, wounded, ill, abandoned, mistreated, or homeless animals of all types.
SECARE is a federally licensed 501(c)(3) nonprofit shelter. We are not affiliated with any other shelter, rescue or humane societies and operate under a no-kill policy for all surrendered or abandoned animals that we accept as adoptable. We temperament test all animals prior to acceptance into the SECARE shelter. It is the philosophy of SECARE to see to the welfare of animals, to help prepare animals for new homes, and rehome them with the intention that they are entering into their "forever" homes.
